Definition of Expert

An expert knows three things of great value:

1) What all the mistakes look like.
2) That they are mistakes.
3) That you don't have to make them.

    Point 1 rules me out as an expert. Every time that I think I have seen every possible mistake I discover a new one.

    As the old saying goes, "Nothing is idiot proof because idiots are so amazingly clever!"

    However the last two points seem reasonable.
